The modern & fun portrait

Looking for something a little different?  The Box is the portrait shoot for you. Our Box shoot is a fun and modern portrait sitting and has all the kids wanting to come back and do it all again! Our giant box is a sturdy wooden box big enough to hold most families... 14 ten-year-olds is the record in the box... that was a mad box party shoot! 

How it works!

There is no limit to the number of people who come for a box shoot, the only restriction is how many can fit in... I would say 6 adults is cozy!  I like to photograph each person in the box separately, be as creative as you like – the splits, headstands, bridges...we encourage it all!.... this is not a sit still and smile portrait sitting!

Talking of headstands,...What to wear, 

Wear anything you like, but we recommend you DON'T wear, Skirts (nobody wants to see your pants when your upside down) low cut tops... a bit of bending over may be required... we don't want anything.... well you get the idea.  I DO recommend, jeans, T-shirts , The more colour the better and bare feet... so you can grip the sides of the box, socks are too slippery! And if you want to look really cool, why not bring a change of clothes and do a fancy dress or Onesie shoot too...no extra cost!

After the shoot

Once you have all had a good time in the box and I have also photographed some family groups etc I then edit all the boxes and upload them to your own personal online album. I will also create some example montages with your images and upload them for you to view.

The BOX portrait shoot is now becoming an exclusive annual event, available once each year in December only. This festive favourite is designed to create fun, creative and memorable family portraits that become keepsakes for years to come.

Due to limited availability, booking slots will open nearer the time each year.
