Looking for something a little different? The Box is the portrait shoot for you. Our Box shoot is a fun and modern portrait sitting and has all the kids wanting to come back and do it all again! Our giant box is a sturdy wooden box big enough to hold most families... 14 ten-year-olds is the record in the box... that was a mad box party shoot!
How it works!
There is no limit to the number of people who come for a box shoot, the only restriction is how many can fit in... I would say 6 adults is cozy! I like to photograph each person in the box separately, be as creative as you like – the splits, headstands, bridges...we encourage it all!.... this is not a sit still and smile portrait sitting!
Talking of headstands,...What to wear,
Wear anything you like, but we recommend you DON'T wear, Skirts (nobody wants to see your pants when your upside down) low cut tops... a bit of bending over may be required... we don't want anything.... well you get the idea. I DO recommend, jeans, T-shirts , The more colour the better and bare feet... so you can grip the sides of the box, socks are too slippery! And if you want to look really cool, why not bring a change of clothes and do a fancy dress or Onesie shoot too...no extra cost!
After the shoot
Once you have all had a good time in the box and I have also photographed some family groups etc I then edit all the boxes and upload them to your own personal online album. I will also create some example montages with your images and upload them for you to view.

The BOX is a portrait shoot with room for everyone to get involved. Bring the kids, grandparents, friends or the whole family — there’s no limit on how many people can take part. We’ll photograph different combinations in the box, then bring your favourite moments together in a nine-image montage.
Appointments are available Tuesday to Saturday and include up to one hour in the studio. Afterwards, you can view your images in a private online gallery from home.
The BOX Experience — £95
Includes your nine-image montage as a digital file, plus the nine photographs used in it as individual digital files.
The Complete BOX Experience — £175
Includes all digital files from your shoot, including the montages, plus a 40 × 40 cm standard canvas featuring your favourite montage.
